T H E D O M A I N
History
I got this domain/hosting package from IpowerWeb in February of 2004. I no longer run my previous domain, Midnyte Ryde Net. I had wanted another domain after that mainly because I'm so greedy. Okay, and the fact that I needed another place to park all of my fanlists, which were growing in number. I figured here would be as good a place as any. Thus, my new nest was born and is currently known as Sympathetic-Magick.Net.
Layout
As stated on the main page, this version of the layout features screenshots from the game Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. I've stuck to my usual rotation of video game layouts. I recently rediscovered the screenshots and couldn't resist doing something with them. The lines on the right are from the poem "Nero's Friend", by C.N. Broome. It's a beautiful work that I find myself re-reading quite often. But that has much to do with my Nero obsession, so there you have it.
To build the layout, I used Photoshop 6/7.0, Notepad and Frontpage for testing. The heart and flower graphics are actually part of a font package from dafont.
