This layout took me absolutely
forever to complete. Strangely enough, after downing cup after cup of
green tea, the creative part of my mind was stimulated into direction. Previous to that, I was having the hardest time
trying to decide how to approach the new layout. But with the Crusades in the back of my mind, remembering the context
of the story, I was drawn to like designs. It is the overall theme, you see. The game takes place amid the Crusades, and
while Joachim is sitting out that conflict, he is planning his own against Walter. And yes, if you are wondering, the bloody
knight in the center panel
is in fact intended to represent Joachim.
I've been designing more of my layouts lately with CSS in mind, and this one is no exception. I also have started to shift to
creating layouts for larger resolutions. While I do love my trendy, compact layouts, I've discovered that these larger ones are
far more user-friendly. It's been tested in IE and Firefox, so I hope it works for most everyone. I'm crossing my fingers on
that.
