- Joachim Armster, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence
fanlisting & shrine
Description: Much more than just a pretty face, he's an intriguing character full of compelling contrasts: honor and shame, hate and longing. Though a bitter foe, inside that frosty shell dwells a tragic hero.
- Admiral Ramirez, Skies of Arcadia (Legends)
fanlisting & shrine
Description: He is a multi-faceted character, though he appears thoroughly evil and soulless. He proves to be full of volatile emotion as well as blind loyalty, and is equipped with an equally perplexing past.
- Ramon Salazar, Resident Evil 4
fanlisting & shrine
Description: I seem to be drawn to the more tragic villains, and he is no exception. The first time I saw him in-game, I knew there was much more to him. He is both darkly mischievous and charmingly enigmatic.
- Nabooru, The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time
fanlisting & shrine
Description: A bit cynical yet quite compassionate, she's a lone wolf thief on a mission, one that will help save the world. I loved her character from the first time I ever played the game through. She's that awesome.

- Wolf O'Donnell, Star Fox series
fanlisting & shrine
Description: More of an antihero than a villain, Wolf is a dynamic and intriguing character. The head of a mercenary team and chief rival of Fox McCloud, he has captured my interest and my adoration. I hope that he will appear in more Star Fox games to come, though his latest appearance in Smash Brothers Brawl is also very exciting.

- "The Dark World" (theme), The
Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
fanlisting
Description: I have always been a fan of this beautiful Zelda theme. It's quirky and whimsical, but also elegant. I fell back in love with it after the release of Super Smash Brothers Brawl, which features an orchestrated remix version of it as one of the background songs.

- Mayor Adam West, Family Guy
fanlisting
Description: Ever since I first started watching Family Guy, I have loved Mayor West. He's not quite all there, and is (in)famous for concocting all kinds of expensive schemes to distract the people of Quahog from various controversies. He is a good person though, and is another source of great hilarity in the show.
→ CHARACTERS: BOOK/MOVIE
- Charlie Prince, 3:10 to Yuma (2007)
fanlisting & (upcoming) shrine
Description: by now, you've noticed my penchant for villains, and so this fanlisting (and likely shrine) for Ben Wade's sinister right-hand man should not be too unexpected. He is another dark character with an elusive background, skillfully brought to life by Ben Foster.
→ HISTORY/ROYALTY
- Emperor Nero
fanlisting & (upcoming) shrine
Description: My favorite figure from history, he has been treated to a rather grim reputation. But through research, I've found that he was not all that the ancient sources have said he was. He was many things, but a ruthless, cold-blooded monster was not one of them.
- Emperor Augustus
fanlisting & (upcoming) shrine
Description: The "first citizen" of Rome's imperial era, he is also a fascinating man to study. He was bold, extremely charismatic and truly cunning. Though he was not nearly as flamboyant as Nero, he still finds a place in my heart.
- Emperor Caligula
fanlisting & (upcoming) shrine
Description: Known as a "mad emperor", he adopted a truly bizarre lifestyle, some say because of tragic childhood events. Or, because of a "brain fever" that left him mentally scarred. Whatever the reason for his behavior, he is and will remain a very intriguing figure to study.
→ ANIME/MANGA CHARACTERS/RELATIONSHIPS
- Kuronue, Yu Yu Hakusho
fanlisting
Description: Though he may now live on only inside Kurama's memory, we can tell that he was greatly esteemed by his old friend. Perhaps even a tragic figure, he symbolizes the pain and lingering guilt in Kurama's past.
- Freyr, Matantei Loki Ragnarok
fanlisting
Description: He is perhaps the zaniest Norse god you'll ever meet! If he's not bargain shopping or riding his flying pig Gullinbursti, he's doting on Mayura or otherwise being a complete goofball. You would almost never be able to tell that he was Freya's brother.
- Vash the Stampede & Nicholas D. Wolfwood, Trigun
fanlisting & (upcoming) shrine
Description: For one of my most beloved relationships of all time. If you've seen the show, I need not say more. Theirs is a powerful and enduring relationship, one laced with self-doubt, trust, love, loss and hope.
→ SONGS
- "Wisemen", James Blunt
fanlisting
Description: Probably the biggest reason why I love it so much is because I first heard it while on the Isle of Capri during the summer of 2006. It was my first visit to Italy. And so hearing the lines, especially "where are you now?" really got to me and the song has since stuck with me.
